IEA Portugal, formerly AEPORT, is the official representative of the International Enneagram Association in Portugal. It was born from the merger of two associations that were already working with the Enneagram in the country.
Where we want to go
To broaden the dissemination of knowledge about the Enneagram and its practical application in Portugal.
To help increase the use of this knowledge, ethically and responsibly, fostering more harmonious and respectful communication in society.
What we do every day
To promote the Enneagram in Portugal, making its full potential and depth known to a wider audience.
To be a centre for sharing at an international level, to create rich content opportunities for members and to pass on ways of applying it in daily life.
What binds us
Transparency, coherence, responsibility, respect, ethics, dynamism and sharing.
These values are translated into concrete rules in the Code of Ethics, which is binding on all members.

"A feeling of coming home."
It is with great enthusiasm, responsibility and honour for the legacy of AEPORT that I introduce myself as president of this association.
For the last fifteen years I have devoted myself passionately to human development, guiding people through training courses, inspiring talks and individual Coaching sessions. I have always been fascinated by decoding the complex patterns of human motivation and behaviour. Along this journey I immersed myself in several fields of knowledge, such as Coaching, Transpersonal Psychology and Neuro-Linguistic Programming.
Of them all, one transformative discovery was the Enneagram, which came into my life many years ago and has since been an essential tool in my mission to empower and transform lives.
At the time I had no interest in acquiring more knowledge, especially about a personality typology, because I was seeking an expansion that went beyond such categorisations. However, a few years later I realised the depth and impact the Enneagram can have on our lives. As I took in the self-knowledge that came from discovering my own personality, it was as if someone knew things about me that I myself did not know.
We often describe this experience as a feeling of coming home. It is at this point that the life-changing realisations arise, freeing us from the automatic patterns of the personality and allowing us to undertake the journey of great inner work with this ancient wisdom.
Once I understood the true dimension of the Enneagram, I decided to immerse myself completely in its study. I began learning from the best teachers from different parts of the world, including mystical places such as Egypt. Since then I have never stopped studying the Enneagram, and I keep discovering new facets of this powerful tool. I have integrated all this knowledge into my work, turning the Enneagram into an accelerator of results, evolution and transformation in Coaching and Training processes, in both personal and professional contexts.
When we are deeply touched by something that gives us so much, we feel a commitment of gratitude and the wish to share it with more people, helping them live freer, more fulfilled and happier lives.
It was in this spirit that I took on the presidency of AEPORT, with the incredible team that accompanies me and shares the same feeling for this age-old wisdom.

The association is the result of the merger of the Portuguese Enneagram Association (APE) and the Enneagram Development Association of Portugal (ADENEAP). It is based in the municipality of Mafra and is affiliated with the International Enneagram Association, and may therefore call itself IEA Portugal.
